What are you trying to say david pinder? You haven't posted it enough times. Try it again I don't think it worked.

Dont understand why my post didnt come thru will try again. Rodger the third controller went out after 1 month, I can guarantee there was no water splash as i drilled a hole in my wall and mounted it in another room. Thats not the point after spending that much mony on a pump theres no wave a drop of water should have taken out my pump. your engineering design is wrong and until its corrected you will loose customers. I have 10 pumps running in my 1300 gal of saltwater aqua and tunzee is the only one that i have had trouble with.

Im not sure, but I think he was making fun of you (haha). Your posts are coming up David Pinder. In any event, I've had only great experiences with Tunze products; however, I have had friends that get their equipment shorted by water. Definitely is a problem that could be fixed easily.

I just put some shipping tape around the seams of any controller I have incase of a splash of water. It's basically sticky plasic, and should do a good job keeping water out.

I love my Tunze's!!! I have a pair of 6101's, pair of nanostreams 6045's and they have ran flawlessly!! The only problem I ever had was that both of the clips broke on my 6045's and were promtly replaced by Roger. Thanks again Roger for the excellent customer service.

I own 2 waveboxes, 5 Streams, a 9020 skimmer, osmolator, 8 magnets and have dealt with Roger many times.

Roger and Andy over at IceCap are the two best people I have ever dealt with regarding service/ warranty issues for any products (not just for aquarium stuff) I have ever owned in my life. Give him 1/2 a chance and he will come through.

James

Roger has been good to get back to me and fixed my 6100 pretty quick. I have six of them and have found that they do break down if you do not clean them often, especially if you have Calcium and Kalk reactors as I do.

Just wondering if any one else has problems with Tunze Stream pumps? Over a year ago I purchased (2) 6200"s. Within 2 weeks both quit working. I tried new impellers and cleaning nothing worked.

I have pumps on my system for 21/2 years with no problems. This includes a Penguin 1140 for 22.00. That feeds my reactor.

Tunze has it great hiding behind the distributors. The disturbers say you have to contact Tunze. But you can't get ahold of them. they don't answer e-mails.

I know I an idiot but I bought (2) 6201 to replace the old pumps... Guess what one quit last night after only 30 days.. Here we go again....

The only difference with the new pumps is no alarm sounds to alert you of there malfunction..

Why does a pump the cost 505.00 fall apart and quit working after 30 days? When the little 22.00 Penguin has been running for 21/2 years???

If any one from Tunze wants to answer, feel free. Or keep hiding behind your distributors...

One ****ed off customer....
Can't say i agree with you. I contacted Tunze when my Master Electronic pump arrived broken and within two weeks they mailed me a new one, they always answered my calls when i phoned them and they were always understanding and supportive.

George, if you would have read the WHOLE thread. You would have noticed that I contacted Roger and we are working on the problems....

I originally posted because Tunze International would not respond to my e-mail about their products...

I discovered thru this forum that Tunze had a US rep./ Roger. That's the point of Reef Central???

Although I might have been a little upset at the time I'm amazed about the responses, both good and bad..

The only thing that has been a constant thru out is Roger, being a great guy to work with. That he has been with me..

Their product still has to be worked out...

Happy Reefing
