T5, MH, or both???

I'm in the process of building a 150 gallon setup. Dimensions are 48w x 24d x 31h. I would like to have several clams (on the sand) as well as sps, lps, etc. I find myself unable to make a decision regarding lighting. I can't decide between all T5 lighting or a T5/MH combo. The two fixtures I have in mind are the 48" Solar Flare from Aquactinics (6x54w) or the 48" Outer Orbit 2x250 w/ T5 Lamps. I'm just about paralyzed with indecision and need someone to tell me what would be best for me with the following considerations:

Energy cost - electricity is expensive here in Illinois!!
Heat - Actually, I will probably need to add heat to the aquarium. We keep the house at 68 in winter and 72 in the summer. Would need to heat the tank to 80 or so.
Bulb replacement cost - however often they need to be replaced, which is less costly?
Anyway, if some kind expert would take pity on me, I'm looking to make a good decision the first time. Will take any and all advice!

with a 31" depth you better stick with MH, and you might even wanna think about 400s over the 250s for the higher light clams on the sandbed. Derasa's would do fine with 250s some of the others if of small size may not fair so well that deep.
