Interesting to see that you are using an ATI BM...was looking at the BM 250 today as I'm looking for a skimmer on my 210G. I've heard that there are problems with adjusting water level and air intake on this skimmer, that a lot of skimmate builds up on the riser column because of that. Have you encountered any such problems?

Love the new aquarium really nice....again coloration is spectacular. Whereabout in the Red Sea did you dive?
Not Iwan but I've had that skimmer for a couple of weeks now. I think the issues your asking abut have been resolved. I'm still in the process of adjusting mine to an optimum level but It's not a problem at all.

now that mine is broke in i love it. I have the 200 on my 240 with a heavy load and it keeps Nitrates at 0. ATI web site says you can use the 200 on a heavly stocked 250. The american distri says a little different. Just make sure it stays in 6-7inchs of water

Iwan, are you still changing T5 bulbs every 6 months or have you eased up on the rapid-replacement program?

I hope Iwan comes back on to answer some questions. that is a gorgeous tank!!!

Iwan, i'm wondering what you use for flow. i know you have Tunze Streams (how many?). i also see that you have some holes drilled in the bottom of your tank....are these for a closed loop?

How is a 500 lb plus tank being held by a ladder and being balanced by a support which is attached to a ladder? Can someone explain this to me?

So Iwan has been missing for almost 4 months?

The plot thickens.

Melv, did you ever get to see this setup/tank in person?

If anyone has I would love to see pics you took of the tank.

Pulled from German News....

"A Swiss skier was found after an afternoon of search and rescue in the Alps after an avalanche alert. He was later found in a nearby town 20 miles from where he was last seen, claiming that he had seen the abominable snowman while skiing and the only way to hide was to take off all of his clothes and cover himself in white spraypaint. He was hospitalized for a concussion and so all of the paint on his skin could be removed... and because he was Swiss"

Could be Iwan...

Well, our only way to get him to respond might be to make up enough romors that he has to come back to clarify that he has not joined Al-Queda for health benefits, not joined a mountain cult, not gone into a coma from eating pickles, not sold his reef to gypsies to get his kidneys back...

Does anyone know how much flow Iwan had from tank - sump in his previous tank. I was looking through his gallery (again) and am so amazed at the colors and clarity of the water. He doesn't run ozone, right?

Im not sure its a ladder. I think its some sort of rail system holding the tank.

leoskee, yeah... I think you are right. It looks like a rail system to me too. I think I have one of those out in the garage actually... it has bars going across every 16" so I can step up and down it.

Good lord!! Keeping up with you guys is not an easy task. At least Iwan's thread was only 9 pages instead of the 300 and something of Marcs....Whew....Between Hop, Marc, Jnarowe, Iwan and a few others I feel like I have been reading for weeks....
