ORA clam, coral or fish order for meet.

Ok, so we have a host thatnks to Jorge. This thread is a sign up sheet for the ORA order. Until we geve a count I can not get prices to post. So if you are interested in getting in on a ORA order for fish,SPS corals or clams then please post with what you are interested in getting.
As of yet I don't know what ORA has to offer so I was thinking that we would do like a grab bag of corals and do a raffle to see who picks first.
ex. John Doe 1 x Clam. 2 x Corlas.

Ade. 2 x Clams. 2 x Corals

As of now I wouldn't ask for 1 st grade, untlra or teardrop. Just state calm ,being as we will not know what they have in stock at the time of ordering.
Thanks,
Ade

Shipping is not such a big deal but getting a big enough order together to make it worth ordering is. IF we can't get enough to order maybe we can look at one of the online sites which offer free shipping.

Talking ORA

OK, I think that I need to explain myself when placing an order with ORA.
I can not place the order myself, you have to have a store front.
If we can get a large enough order, then I can take that to a LFS(UA), then see what kind of prices they can come up with and then post prices to see if we are all still interested.
In order to place an order through ORA the store has to buy multipal fish to get any corals/clams. Even then, I have been told that you get what they send you. Therefor if we can get some corals and cams the only fair way would be to give out raffle tickets and draw to see who picks first.

Silver moon- I have also been told that a picasso clown is very hard to get and there is a long waiting list. IF you are lucky enough to get one with the order they are in the $200-400 range, did you still want one?

I was only thinking or doing corals and clams from ORA. If we want to do shrimp conch or anything else that would be cool.
Just like to add that if we do this it has to be a large enough order for it to be worth while for the LFS. IF we can only come up with an order for a few corals and clams them we might look at a differant supplier.
I hope this explains what we need.
Thanks,
Ade

ADE,
Thanks for the clarification. What is the attraction of ORA if you don't know what you are getting? Generally great specimens at great prices?

I would be interested in a peppermint shrimp, and a crocea clam. I think my tank is ready for it's first clam.

Ok guy and gals, we are getting down to a couple of weeks before Jorges meet. We need to get a firm number on who wants what so that I can take that number of corals fish and clams to LFS and get prices back so that we can get a comitment from everyone.
As of now all we have is around an order for 4 Clams and 6 Corals (sps) not realy enough for any LFS to deal with. So unles we can double or tripple that amount we are going to have to look else were to place an order.

Last chance before we are going to have to call this a no show. Strange because I always here of people want to buy corals at a good price and I for one would like to save money corals. A group buy is the best way of saving money on corals/clams.
I will try and look at something if this does not work out.

Ade
