Hang on VS. In Sump

Hi,

I m thinking to buy a new skimmer, i have a coralife 65 to my 55 gal tank, but i think is time to upgrade. I'm a little confused when the description refers as HOB it is on the tank or on the sump. Since I have seem that some PS work inside the water (summerge) of the sump i dont know if this kind are the ones that are describe as In sump.
Right know mine is hang on the sump and that is what i want to look for. How it is describe? Any recommendations? Brand, model or anything that could help me on this difficult decision..

TNX A LOT

Why do you want hang on sump? There are better options. A space issue?

There are small in sump skimmers, and there are also external skimmers that can sit outside of the sump. What room do you have to work with?
