I'm trying to figure out if I'm going to be able to make it to this. I haven't seen anything about a time...is this an all day thing? I wouldn't be able to do that 'cause of the kids but is there an hour or two that I'd be able to drop by, and when would that be?

If I can make it I'd be in for the frag raffle, and I could definitely bring a few portions of halimeda if anyone would be interested and maybe a couple other little things, too.

We were here in Amelia at twon's (Anthony) place in February...started early evening, say 6 or 7 if I remember...went late then...I left like 11:30 or so and there were still a few folks there...great time to be had, no matter what time Anthony decides to start this time around...

how bout we start around 5-6pm.......or whenever Anthony feels like letting people in....

and then just state the raffle will be held at 7 or 8pm......so people can gauge their arrival if they are only interested in being there for 1-2hrs.

that way some people wont feel obligated to stay late just for the raffle if they need to get back to their families.

Well, since google maps is telling me that I'd be spending 3 1/2 hours total on the trip I am going to have to pass this grand opportunity up since it would take me away from home for too long.

How long am I going to have to wait before something like this comes around again? How often do you guys do this?

Um, I don't think Google Maps is correct...out here in Amelia, we are only about 35-40 minutes from Atlantis...so, I would imagine that Fredericksburg is about the same, 35-40 minutes from Atlantis...so, you are talking about an hour and a half give or take...probably less, more like about an hour and 15 minutes...definitely not 3-1/2 hours...my god, it only took me 2 hours and 45 minutes to go to Roanoke for work related training a few months ago...

For what is it worth, I just did Mapquest and it said hour and 41 minutes...

Nope...besides, doesn't math only work prior to consuming alcohol?
