Green Wire?
Hi
I have a question. I just got the ARO ballast which has a black white and green wire but my mogul socket only have white and black ones. Where should I ground the green wire? to my reflector? Thanks for any information anyone has Happy Holidays to all! Sean |

Ground it to your reflector or better yet the socket. I have an Icecap ballast and its wired the same way.

um, don't ground the socket. unless it has a green screw or green wire for grounding it is a NEC violation if grounded otherwise and will trip your gfi if bonded to your neutral and over time degrade the wire in your building, it could very well start a fire 10 years from now or lead to electrocution. grounding the reflector would be prudent but the green wire is intended to ground any ballast enclosure or lighting enclosure you may use http://mikeholt.com/mojonewsarchive/...s~20021206.htm

I grounded the green wire to the mogul socket's back since it had two screws. Am I doing this wrong? Thanks!
