Love them so far, colors are sooo much better than from the 50/50s on my pcs. The rock i got is very porous, looks like coral stone or something, kinda like the rock people get from marco rocks. So it should be pretty easy to find spots for frags, and hold them there with a little epoxy.

I like how you keep on building on top of the reef.
Do you have a host anemone for your clown fish? I notice that they wander a lot.

Nope, dont have an anemone for my clowns yet. Not sure what to get, i like carpets but they grow pretty big. I would like a rose bulb nem, but i think ocellerais clowns and rose bulbs wont work. So not sure what to get, maybe another kind of BTA??

In all my family's tanks, we have at least one bubble-tip anemone for our clowns. They all love 'em. But for your pair(?) of clowns, I would only get one anemone. We have a clown in our 210gal, which we have about 4 anemones (Two bubble-tip, two curly-cue), and our clown fish has only hosted one almost since the very beginning...

Looking good.
I'm probably going to do a 90 gallon and T5 setup when I graduate (I've heard that happens to some people) so I like seeing other peoples' setup.

Can you guys help me decide between the octo NW150 and NW200. the nw150 is rated for a 125-150g tank, the nw200 for a 175-200g. This thread got me thinking it might not work too efficiently if i went to big...
http://archive.reefcentral.com/forum...readid=1221825 This tank will end up being sps dominated, has 7 fish at the moment, probably will get 3 more. I want to order within the next 2 weeks or so, gotta get paid though

I would like a euro, but i dont have that much money. But from what i hear octopus's are great. The rs135 has a 6" diameter for the reactor right??, the octo nw200 has an 8" diameter, the octo nw150 has a 6", which is why im thinking the nw200 might be too big. If anyone is running a nw200 on a 90g or something close, feel free to chime in

A really beautiful layout... That euphyllia making the connection between what would otherwize be 2 islands is great... just great, just where it needs to be.
Tanks like yours, when they're in their early stages seem to be full of potencial. I hope you manage to make a good choice of corals to continue. Good luck! ______________________ www.aquarium-layouts.com |
