What type of MH's to get

Ok I am about ready to just go ahead and upgrade my lighting to MH. I have read and read but there are so many mixed opinions on what to get that I just cant decide. I want to run 2X250 on a 125 gal. Can anyone suggest which ballast, socket, and bulbs to get and why you have or want them.....Any help is appreciated.....

If its 6ft long with a depth of 18" I'd say atleast 3x250w MH lamps. One lamp per two feet.

so, 3 lumenarc mini's?

I just switched from DE to SE. I do personally prefer SE. I just like the selection of bulbs better and i like the spread.

The only DE bulb i really liked was the Phoenix 14K, especially since i dont run atinics.

I have tried several SE and i really like the Radium 20K bulb the best of all that i have tried, SE or DE.

DE for the most part you will get better PAR
