Yeah, nevermind the whole toughest-critter-on-the-planet-by-weight issue.....being a one eyed mantis is just bonus cool/tough points.

Kinda like a one eyed raptor from Jurassic Park.

Tim is anxiously awaiting an image of the first official declaration of worship to Himself (He even made me capitalize "Him" and "He" above in this post due to an unheathily-enlarged ego at the thought of the shrine)...

You have just made the cut onto Tim's "People I won't eat because I like them" list...

Today is water-change day...

During this water-change I will be fishing out the remains of one B.D.E. crab and looking for the remains of StrongBad.

Tim's been busy (and is just shy of the median-line between being in my good graces or being on my 'list' - I was partial to SB).

I've since added yet more snails to hold off further slaugter (at this time). Shrimp pellets are no longer considered food by Mr. Super-mantis... they serve only to lure out real prey now.

(images belonging with this update are slightly delayed due to real-life having kicked me in the junk repeatedly these past few weeks - rest assured they are coming and will hopefully be worth the wait)

ps- I am also interested in the feeding habits of pants-zombies.

Oh, BTW, "pants-zombies" DON'T eat brains, because;

A) too stringy
B) taste like $#@%
C) give me gas and diareah(sp?)

It's annoying. He will post when he has something to add. If you have something constructive to add do so otherwise be patient and wait for him to post.

Just remember every time you post RC sends email notices to every one who has subscribed to this thread weather they have posted to it or not.

My period of sullen mourning (moping) is nearing an end...

The casualty listing of last months massacre includes:
- Larry
- Curly
- B.D.E.
- StrongBad
- Velcro (the hydroid-covered 'decorator')

As of last night I counted 9 remaining ninja crustaceans (mostly hermits) including:
- Shemp (the sand-dwelling, smooth-shelled 'decorator')
- and Moe (the last peppermint shrimp)

During the moping phase I cleaned and rearranged (only slightly) the tank of Tim.

As retalliation, Tim chose to break apart the non-photosynthetic 'branching 'cup' coral and use it in his den for decoration.

Then I decided to (okay, okay... it was a retaliation too) reclaim the pieces and while doing so broke apart a bit of Tim's home-rock.

It's been escalating for over a week, but I think we reached an accord last night (after the third round of cleanings). We've agreed to a temporary cessation of annoyances towards one another at least.

I know that I have him beat though... By this time next week the 20g long will be set up and beginning it's cycle. A month from now I'm going to remake his entire world...

*mad-reefers cackle*
