Is it like an anemone transparent and round white tips?
if so, I have one too but don't know what it is; it kind of opens at night but no worries on this thing since is isolated on a 20g still running til I find a home for it (the tank) |

Pseudocorynactis is my guess. Some people consider them pests because they can sting but I have a few in two of my tanks that never seem to multiply. I think they are pretty cool.

That's what I thought, seapug. I think it's some sort of corallimorph, I was thinking it looked like a tropical relative of the corynactis. Maybe it's just a little tiny Discosoma? I think that most likely...
It will be easier to tell what it is when it gets bigger. Or borrow someone's camera and use the macro setting (looks like a little flower usually).

I used the macro setting but in order to make the pic the rite size i had to crop it and i dont have very good software to do that in...and had to do it in paint...i tried downloading some stuff but i couldn't figure them out...so i just stuck with this...

My book says Pseudocorynactis ,says sting can be harmful to corals, clams, snails, and crustaceans upon contact, also harmful to fish and the powerful sting that may be toxic to humans. It also says reef safe ha sounds like it????
