Wanting to add a school of fish. What?
Looking at adding a school of fish.(not right away but later on ). What are some good fish that would look good in a 220 with the others in my sig.
I was thinking blue damsels as they are really bright blue and would look good with abot a dozen or more. Not really liking chromis (not as colorful as the damsel but less aggressive). Nor do i like the cardinal fish. Looking for something relativly cheaper (doesnt have to be )and bright coloured. Any ideas????

For cheaper than cardnelfish or chromis damsels seem to be the only possibility. Damsels dont normally school though. What about some type of dartfish like firefish. In my area they're usually less than $10 and will swim together in the water column most of the time.

Are the sharks out of the tank yet? I'd be worried about them eating the fish too. So that would effect price greatly. I wouldn't mind loosing a $3 damsel now and then, but a pricey anthia could hurt the wallet! I think damsels are great additions to FOWLR's because they add great color, movement, and they are SCRAPPY! I had a couple damsels in with my big angels, and they were great for the angels to chase when they got bored. It is going to be hard to get them to school though.

I'd like to tag along on this one. I'm considering adding a "group" of about 10 yellow tail damsels to my reef.

I am still considering Chromis in my 75. I'm on the fence about it and what the future of the other inhabitants quality of life would be. I did get 3 Firefish for my 50. They always hang together and LOVE to surf in the current. Always in the water column. I have been enjoying them quite a bit.

high fin (or longspine) cardinals look nice, (i know you dont like cardinals) but they school together quite nicely. i have them going in and out of the cave i made just for them. nice hint of blue in them too.

Vanderbilt chromis are like the standard green chromis just with a little more splash of color. Otherwise i like anthias i have 3 bartlett anthias in my tank and they are great fish!
