Elegance plate coral

not sure if this is the right forum..........
I have a very large Elegance plate coral, every couple of days it seem to swell up appx. 3 times its normal size, it seems to be moving. is this normal? also does it sting?

It is Heliofungia sp. Another name is long-tentacle plate coral. You should feed it every couple weeks to keep it healthy. Fungias will move around the sand, and yes they do sting.

They are LPS, BTW.

It is so funny to watch him get so big! I feed him a silver side 2-3 times a week.
