lets see pics of ur sarmentosas

well i have 2 sarmentosa colonies the first is a top down on my smaller higher up colony that i almost killed a year ago when a yuma ricordia fell on top of it killing half of it well its since grown back and then some this thing has the best colors in my tank IMO they are very intense in person and top down just really shows it off... one of my favorite corals so i wanted to share it and see otehr peoples sarmentosas and see how they have done with them... this was a wild colony and same with the large one also wild

I'm not sure if this is rosaria or sarmentosa... they are so close in corallite formation and pattern. There is a very similar colony next to it with much more subdued colors.

Slow but sure, thanks murph
I got a small branch from a tank that was breaking down, and the color was almost exactly like 02REDZ28's when I got it. I hope it gets the pink, would be to cool, that pink is like candy! Right now it's more of a purple, had to tone the exposure down and kinda messes with the colors.

i use tropic marin reef salt the regular not pro..... but to tell u the truth i only do a 25-30g water change on my tank every 2 months or so.... i just keep up on makin sure my paramters are in check and i change carbon, filtersocks, prune cheato and clean skimmer when necessary so nothing goes unchecked....

even so its little work... i just got back from maui for 7 days i let the tank do its thing only thing i had was my mom come over and feed my fish daily and that was that.... nothing died and all is still growing... here is a center shot from today

the only thing i really want now is some more stags and colorful corals but i dont wanna spend anymore money lol its been nice kickin back and watching it do its thing only cost are maintenance, food, and electricity which can be alot in its own out here lol
