Stumped on this ID??

Can' figure out the ID on 2 of the pieces pictured below. One is a yellow milli, the other is some type of monti but I don't know which kind and the other red one in the background is a complete mystery.

Any help would be great.

I'll second Kip,

Both are very nice. Where did you get them?

BTW I have a bright orange nodosa and it is a pretty slow grower.

Any chance on a clearer pick of the red one if you're trying to id it? Looks like it could be a Cyphastrea or perhaps an Echinophyllia...but it's hard to tell with the blurriness.

Good eye RCS, it does look like Cyphastrea. I would rule out Echinophyllia due to the size of the corallites in relation to the Millepora.

The one in the background is a Cyphastrea, but it's an LPS.

It's a little hard to tell with the red one in the background. I don't know if the scale is correct or if it's a trick of the eye/camera. If it's scale, then I'd definitely stick with Cyphastrea.

The yellow looks for all the world like green bali slimer (a. youngeii). They can range from that color to deep green depending on lighting. I have one that's it's twin, and if that's what it is, they grow fast and spread out and up like a candelabra.

i am pretty sure its a a. millepora, not a yongei. My green slimer is greener than that, and the polyps are different. This one has scaled corralites.

I've seen a lot of Cyphastria in the toronto stores lately. Nice looking, but I didnt know much about it.

Anyone know how hardy it is? Hows yours doing MK Reefer?

Chris

I don't think the 3rd pic is a porites, I've seen a lot of etailers selling plating montporas that are mounted like that.

Im pretty sure its a porites. They are selling them as cultured discs. I'd take a pic of mine, but I dont have a camera right now. The cultured pieces have either red, purple or white polyps.
