Coralvue Octopus Calcium Reactors... Who is using one?
Anyone running one of these? Do you like it? Do you hate it? Looking for some feedback on them.

I was looking at the 6.5" dual chamber. I wonder if this is the same company making the body of the reeflo skimmers for coralvue.

I just received the double column one from reef specialty (I forget which model... I think it's also running a special on them not listed on the site).
Anyway, the quality looks great! i won't be able to hook it up for a few weeks but I'm 100% glad i got it vs the competition. Knock offs? i'm not sure about that... reactors are all knockoffs of the generations from 8 yrs ago... there's only so many ways you can design 1-2 columns with a pump and bubble counter. As for their skimmers... those might be knockoffs =P

That is good to hear chrissreef. I believe you bought the one I listed specs for that I was interested in.
Could you post some pics of the unit when you get a chance? The pic they have doesn't show much detail.

I can't post until tomorrow... need to charge up my camera.
the top screws off instead of thumb screws which is way cool. If you can, PM me with your email address or a reminder so I don't forget.

Jeremy,
What do you think about these? Chrissreef, Tomorrow is cool or whenever you get a chance. I'm not going to be getting a CaRx at least for a few months so no hurry.

They look good, built solid and the design seems like they would perform well. I thought about getting one to replace my GEO but I still have my heart set on an AquaC reactor.
