Growth Question
I'm fairly new to the coral game and I've done nothing with SPS. I'm wondering how fast an average acro will grow in say a month. I know that it depends on lighting and parameters but I want to know if you can actually notice growth in a month. All I've kept is LPS and I've yet to see really any growth yet.

it would also depend on what kind of acro it is. i'd probably say that you won't find any that will grow much faster than 1/4 inch in a month.

I have a millie that I can see growth from day to day where it's attaching to the rock. It's hard to judge if the rest of it is growing though.

Horizontal/encrusting growth is often faster than vertical growth. I've had an Anacropora that grows almost visibly but they're very brittle.
