Without really knowing what games you're interested in, here's my analysis. You'll notice that most of the games listed are action games or RPG's. That's because those are the games I play.

Xbox 360 has a lot of really good games. It has the best online system out there.

Highly Aclaimed Games for 360:
Bioshock
Mass Effect
Halo 3
Gears of War
Crackdown
The Orange Box
and more...

PS3 has maybe a couple decent games and a Blue-ray player.

Highly Aclaimed Games for PS3:
Ratchet and Clank
Drake's: Uncharted
Unreal Tournament 3
(can't think of any more)

Highly Aclaimed Games for Both:
Call of Duty 4
TES IV: Oblivion
Virtua Fighter 5
Rock Band
Assassin's Creed

Really, though, without knowing your likes/dislikes, I can't help you much more.

IGN.com is great for looking up anything: videogames, TV, movies, music, etc.

I just found out Unreal Tournament 3 is coming out for 360 this spring. Woot!

If you're into action, I'd definately look into Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, Bioshock, Unreal Tournament 3, Devil May Cry 4 (comes out next month), Too Human (drool), and Tom Clancy's Endwar (also drool).

I used to like vanilla, but then I found out that there are some really great chocolate-based ice creams out there. Then you always get the odd person who insists on that neopolitan junk.

Actually I prefer a nice sweet cream gelato with small slivers of chocolate on top. Just seems to hit the spot better than traditional ice cream.

Although on really hot days you just can't beat a good cherry Icee.

A huge plus for the 360 because of xbox live. I know its like 50 bucks a year or something but it has a way better interface than the ps network.

With XBL you can see your friends, what games they played, when they were last online, you can invite your friends to your games and vice versa... All in all xbox has a much better online system.

BUT, I had owned an xbox original for 1 year, it conked out, so I bought another one and it fried one year later. Now my 360 I have owned for about 13 months with many hours on it and it seems to be having some minor issues. But Microsoft has upped the warranty to 3 yrs so I am not worried.

And actually my buddys 360 was about 4 months old and it fried so he phoned them and they sent him a prepaid box to put it in. About 4 weeks later he got a new xbox, pretty sure it was new anyway.

Well, I had my 360 for about 4 months when I got it replaced. It kept freezing when I played Oblivion. I got it replaced at Best Buy, brought it home, same problems. Got Oblivion replaced, same problem. Got a new 360, same problem. Got Xbox Live, got an updated patch, problem solved. All those 360's I trashed were probably in perfect condition, but I got all my stuff for free just by driving down to Best Buy.

I will start by saying I have a 360. It is currently out being repaired. When it died, I thought about getting the PS3, but there are 3 major things about the PS3 I dont like.
1) Game are still being developed- will be at least another year berfore there are numerous titles coming out due to the new format--FYI 360 also had this issue and with time it is overcome
2)Online for the 360 Rocks- this is the major thing that has kept me from going to the other side
3)Blueray- The HD DVD platform has yet to be decided, I gotta say my family had a Beta VHS player back in the day with lots of movies, I dont want to make that mistake again, at least with the 360 if every thing transisions to Blueray, they would be able to design a new drive as it connects via a USB- the PS3 is internal= your screwed!

I got a PC and I suggest the same, many more games plus mouse+keyboard > controller.

No, thus the "I think" part. I can imagine the rest.

Not when you grew up with a controller! I tried the computer gaming thing, but could never get used to using the keyboard.
