how far?

hey everyone

quick question:
i have a 20L tank that im setting up and have purchased a 150watt mh pendant and was wondering how far off the water surface should i place the pendant?

It depends on how deep the tank is and what corals you currently have. To be on the safe side, I would suggest that you start from about twelve inches and keep an eye on your temperature. TinMan
