The use of copper...
I read a lot on here about a lot of people using copper as a treatment of a vatiety of parasites...
Do to the caustic nature/insablity of copper, I am really suprised that people don't use alternatives to copper treatments that are so much safer than copper could ever dream of being! I personally use Seachems line of Antibiotics with great sucess and very little if no reoccurance of the parasite. What do you all think.

Antibiotics will not cure ich. Copper does not kill all external parasites and there are better alternatives such as hyposalinity for ich. If you must use copper then Cupramine is the only way to go. Test it twice a day.

As an old salty copper is just the norm for me. I'm sure you've already talked about the abuse and other alternatives in this forum. What are the links? I need to brush up. |
