Milliporas Touching

Hello, i have 3 milliporas that are quite close to touching each other in my tank would it be ok to leave them to the calcium wall
thing or should i frag off the branches before they touch?

Ive had them quite some time now and dont want to lose them.

yeah id say frag if u can just to be careful... i have a ice blue one and a hot pink one that they have encrusted into each other and they have formed a lil divider area where they stopped growing into each other and left a lil bump of calcium but nothing bad happened to either one....

might be interesting to see what they do

if they are the same species they likely wont' kill one another, though they may create a battle line that goes back and forth. there is also the possibliilty of a pigment exchange, which is what i am hoping for.

ok i have a pic of my tank but not a close up of them the milli's are at the top it's a month old pic and they are closer than they look.

I also have 2 other millies but they arent so close.

generally corals are made to kill and compete with each other.

you can get away with the same species sometimes. but overall, the dominanat one will win. possibly killing the other one
