This might be a silly question, but was it really worth the money to upgrade from the seios to the tunzes? I'm not happy with just the one vortech on my own tank, and I added a couple seio 620s I had laying around, but naturally, I want to ugprade those without paying for another vortech. I was considering 2x1500s rather than pay for the tunzes.

The seios were monsters. They did an ok job for me. They seemed, however, as though they were about to crap out on me after just a little over a year's use. I had on and off issues with them not coming back on if I had to turn them off for some reason. It got worse as they got older. I just like the flow out of the 6060's better than what I was getting out of the 1500's. Oh, and I bought both of my Tunzes used, so they were actually priced a bit better than new 1500's, if I remember correctly. Just had to be patient and wait for them to come up for sale.

MSN,

Have you considered a couple of koralia's? They stay in place and look better than the seio's. Also reasonably priced.
