Anyone want a big tank?

The tank is in perfect condition, no scratches on any of the viewing panels. The tank alone cost $4000 new.

Start looking around your house now for a corner that needs something in it.

Want pics? Send me your e-mail address.

I am not sure how to post pics, but I would be more than happy if someone else posted them that knows how. I have them in my e-mail, so I have been forwarding them.

What are the front to back measurements? Will it fit through an average home's doorway?

Dedex, the question you could ask is how tall is this tank?? I don't see that measurement above. The front to back dims are probably too big to fit through your door. If you had french doors on the patio or something, that's a different story.

He hit the nail on the head. The measurements are 60" across each of the two back sides. The stub sides are 18" and the front viewing panel is 60". It is 32" tall, so that would be the smallest measurement if you do not have french doors or a sliding glass door. I have french doors, so I did not even need to turn it on it's side.

Thanks for posting that pic. It really is a screaming deal. I would not sell this if I had a better place for it, but I also have a 450 gallon tank.

If it doesn't sell by XMAs or there is no real interest, I will probably have it moved to storage as I already have a storage unit.

Oh yea, forgot one thing. The stand is 40" tall, so that might be a problem. That problem is easier to remedy though as you could cut the stand parallel to the front viewing panel, just behind the internal bulkhead and just bolt back together with joinder plates. I almost had the guy who built the stand do that anyway.

The tank alone is worth the price. I will sell the tank alone, but not at a different price as I would have no use for the stand/canopy and would probably scrap it.

The sump and pump should stay with the tank.

OK, I just remembered something I have in my garage that I will throw in, but only if someone picks it by Christmas.

I with throw in a huge UV sterilizer. This thing has 1.5" or 2" inlet/outlet and is around 6' long. It will fit under the stand, above the sump. It is from one of the major manufacturers, like Emperor or something. I have one slightly used bulb and two new bulbs that I will throw in.

I never used it, but it is plenty for this tank.

I also need to know the measurement from back corner to front viewing area so that I know if it would actually fit in the room I would like to see it in...

OK, without actually measuring the distance, my math puts it at roughly 4'7". Actually a little less, but I rounded up. All of the measurements that I gave to James came out perfectly, so I don't think it will be anything different (=/- 1").

That is for the tank. The stand/canopy extend out a little further as you can see in the pic. I would guess another 4" out on the part of the stand surrounding the tank.

I'll draw it up in CAD real quick and measure, out of my own curiosity.

Back corner to front pane is 55.15433" or 4.59'.
