I have 2 questions regarding the Aquatinics TX5 setup. I have a standard 55G setup, but I have a canister filter (don't ask - its due to space restrictions!), so a portion of the top of the tank is used up. I am looking to get the 48" setup, but if I do that, I will need to raise the lights about 3.5 - 4" off the top. Is that bad?
And also, what bulbs combos would be best for that setup? |

In my research, it seems most like to keep the fixture as close to the top of the tank as possible. On a 55g tank, quite shallow, I think that being 3" - 5" above the top of the tank is fine, but I wouldn't go any higher than 5" above.
