My New Custon 40G Cube

Hey !!

So I just got my 40 G Cube at my work today(24"X24"X16") So I'm stoked! The tank was made by a local aquarium builder, it only took him about a week and a halve. It has a overflow built into the top of the tank with two 3/4" holes in the back. The tank also has 5-1/2" holes for two returns and the other three are for closed loops. The tank will include:

Euroreef Protien Skimmer
Mag-7 for return
Ehiem Pump for closed loop
Knop Calcium Reactor
250W Halide Pendant

The tank will also have a 10 g Refugium that will be displayed along with the tank, built into the stand and I'mnot sure the lighting will be.

The tank will be bare bottom and mainly all SPS(mostly Montipora)

I know this is the Nano Forumand my tank a 40(but it almost qualifies!) but ive always liked this place better than any other Forum.

Here are pics of tank and the skematic of the tank and stand:\

Heres my tank right now:

That is the same size tank I have, but mine is acrylic with an external overflow.

VERY VERY nice.

I am all sps and have a 250 DE pendant with two 24w Super Actinic T5's.

TWO MORE 40 GALLONS !!!

I have a 40 long in the works. There's no law that says you can't post your 40's here.

Ca>480ppm, I'm bringing it down
dKH=9, ok
PO4=0ppm, ideal

1/06/08 after a water change
Ca= 480ppm, still a little high
pH= 8.2, I'd like it at 8.3
NO3= 10ppm, acceptable

Just curious, I'm in S. Orange County, would you mind telling me how much you paid for the build? I'm looking for something custom at the moment.

Hey! Thanks for the responses:

nudilove: I paid $150 for the tank, I think the maker is called Visio Aquariums, I will try and get there number tomorrow.

jcm2m9: Yeah ive seen your tank it was my inspiration for my current tank, I wanted to do a external overflow but the makers couldn't do it.
