Dowflake and Home Depot

In what section of Home Depot can I find the Dowflake mentioned in Dr. Holmes-Farley's two part recipe?

Im just about out of the two part B-Ionic supplements, and dont want to overcomplicate what is slowly becoming a fairly involved calcium/alk supplement schedule. Simple and cheap is good, as long as I dont end up with undesired results.

Thanks.

I found it in the garden section near trash cans. You may not find it until fall when folks need it as a deicer again.

Oh, Florida. You may not find it at Home Depot at all.

Possibly at a pool store.

One of the pool supply stores here (Tallahassee, Florida) said they have a granule-type chemical that's 90% calcium and about 45$ for a 45lb bucket.

Seems a bit high priced based on what else Ive seen lately, and will keep checking around.

[edit - 07/15/2004] One of the pool stores said they carry it, and that its 30$ for a 50lb bag. I'll likely start with one of the smaller (8lb) bags and make sure Im doing things properly.
