Yep, saw that last night myself. No magnet. So for the magnet, kit and maxi ti'll be 70+ shipping. Not a great deal when the koralia is 48 bux with a magnet.

its not so bad if you already have a maxi, and with the mod should produce more than a number 4 + the shipping cost

I was considering this too for my new build, but decided to stick with the koralia. If you've already got the Maxi and magnet might be worth it but if not the Koralia 4 can be had cheaper...and it uses less than half the wattage of a Maxi 1200.

Yes i used the suction cup mount and super glued it to the back of piece where the magnet would go. I will try to get a pic up if my camera will work.

i have been told tht their is a powerhead that is mag drive from out side the glass and has no cords in the tank and it works with a wave maker and has up to 1000gph but my LFS has it for $400. so no good. But I did see the ecomod at a locak frag swap and it was cool and I have been looking for it. So I will more than likley do the 1200's 2 of them with the mood in mt 330g and see how it work but I would like to hear a response to the above questions.

Mine are all on a wavemaster pro, the longer they ran the quieter they became. I've got two in the front top of the tank (left and right) which blow into each other. The other two are staggered in the back. I'm thinking about placing one in the rear corner, which will shoot water diagonally across the tank. When they first break in they're kinda loud, but they'll quiet down.

Guys... You don't NEED to buy that magnet in order to mount your MJ

Check these out instead.

It uses half the wattage of a normal MaxiJet, but a modded one with a propeller uses less wattage as well.

My question is do they all perform at the same flow or is the 400 the least flow or what.
