Thanks Jeff. Right now the UV's aren't running as I was afraid they might kill the bio filter I'm having to get restarted. No big deal as I'm keeping an eye on everything and adjust as necessary to keep everyone in the tank happy.

The sand was in the buckets for a while and the rock was out for a week so I think everything on it died off. I'm using Seachem Stability to help the bio filter as I've used it in the past and it helps. I'm going to go and get another 300 G of NSW in the next day or two so I have some on hand when needed.

I'l fix the UV's before I start running them. I started a thread about the use of UV and Ozone and Bomber said to maybe just run the UV and not the ozone. he's not a big beleiver in it. Randy also has an article about Ozone and ORP that I'm going to read up on before I decide what I want to do. I'll unplug the white Ozone for now though and let it run.

Yea, funny about the mermaid. I just asked her and she was all for it. She did complain about the smell in the tank though while she was in there. Funny part is, she was in there cleaning out the tank at first, then I said something about mermaid and pic's and she went and changed for me to take some pic's. Gotta love that.

The fish are back in the tank now and seem to be getting more and more used to us being around the tank. I'm in the garage all the time so they are getting to know me well. I've got the lights up on the tank now running and so I think that made them a bit more comfortable as well.

the wife has been home sick all week but today I get a call from her and she's speachless. Said she was just in the garage to get a screwdriver and finally saw the tank all setup with the fish. She couldn't beleive it. She's finally accepted it and thinks I did awsome in getting it. I know shes seen big tanks before but I don't think she realized how big this one was and how good it will look. But she does now so I'm a happy camper. Can't wait to get it into it's permanant home in the sun room so I can start stocking it with corals and my Moorish Idol.

What can I say? (angel smiley) After the mermaid incident, the tank was excited to get some water in it. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Well, I'm totally hoping she'll divorce you and come to me. That is my master plan. You've got one stunning mermaid over there, and it is time to frag and share.

Two frags already. One will soon be 15 and I've got to start teaching him to drive. The other is 9 and I'm going to have my hands full when she gets older as she's as beautiful as her Mom.

Sorry but there will be no more frags available.

Nice fish, but we’re talking mermaids. You have completely side tracked our limited attention spans. Especially Marc, that nut. We can’t show him stuff like that. We better tell Johnny and JR to swing by. They might have something more intelligible to say. It’s a serious issue, that mermaid of yours…

I showed the mermaid this thread and she got a big laugh out of it. Then she got mad at me for Marc's post and thinks I did that on purpose.

Tell her it’s all Marc’s fault. And he secretly wants a spanking with 1/2 spa flex.

If that doesn't work, tell her he wants one from a man.

Back to the fish... blown63chevy, in picture number 2 with the two BEAUTIFUL Naso's, what is that fish swimming under the rock below them? Looks like a slippery dick wrasse or some kind of parrot fish.

Zfunk, If your from Hawaii, it's a Hinalea. More commonly known as a Christmas Wrasse. That particular fish was cuaght on a rod and reel off of Kaneohe Marine Base, Oahu, HI.
