That's great D.

BTW, I had a thought tonight regarding my recent reef troubles. It occured to me that a major change between before and after is that I put the CBB in and it ate ALL of the aptaisia. I have no idea how it did so quickly since there were literally hundreds, some being quite large, but it did. So what do you guys think about having a drastic reduction in mouths to feed, having an effect on water quality?

I realize that the catalyst was the heat wave and subsequent snail die-off, but i have to wonder if the loss of all those aptaisia didn't have some causitve effect as well.

Hmm While it may have some effect on warer quality I don't think the absence of hundreds of aiptasia is going to make that much of a difference in a system of your size J.

Your tank would need to be overrunning with aiptasia for that to be a deciding factor. I think it (the problem) would have happened regardless of the aiptasia. At least now it's one less thing to worry about

Well, I am sure you are right, but the tank was over-run with them as far as I am concerned...

They were $16.99 each

Not exactly cheap when you need to buy several.

Or in Jonathan's case about 40 of them

I wouldn't risk it for a couple of dollars. The one DOA would negate that savings. Cardinals can be bred...

Hop-

This place has them in stock. They're no Liveaquaria but they're cheaper too.

Their website looks good. Any experience ordering from them? I do like Live Aquaria though. Especially from the divers den section. And their customer service is the best.
