AquaTraders

has anyone here used aquatraders for halides? I have used them for pc's and did not like them, for the fact that the actinics were not as bright as say coralife or hamiltons. But they seem to have a very good price on halides.

They are not UL listed. So I stay away from them. Prices are cheap and tempting but I would rather not have my house catch on fire.

There's some huge threads around here about very happy odyssea owners. 99% of them replace they mh ballasts immediately though.

I bought a 48" 175w combo from them and ended up spending close to $800 getting it to work right. I replaced the ballast and all of the lamps as well as most of the wireing. It still says odyssea on it though.
