My Dorm's 5.5 gallon!

I have this 5.5g on my desk at my dorm. It has 2 clowns in it and a sexy shrimp (just lost the other 2 ). As far as coral, it has several zoanthid frags, some cool mushrooms, and I'm trying to collect some LPS for it. I have 40 watts of PC over it and I'm just using a cheapo filter for flow. So here are some pictures of it, enjoy! I will be upgrading it to a 16 bowfront over the break, I'm already running out of room!

that would be why i'm upgrading, Agu. I live in the same town I go to college in, so during breaks I go back to the dorm every couple days to feed and check on everyone. Lots of dorms close completely for breaks so I don't know how you would handle that. I'm sure there are lots of people on here who have done it, so good luck on trying to figure it out!

Definitely couldn't afford a tank in college money or time wise. I sure always did find a way to buy a case of beer and a handle of booze every few days though Guess that's why I would have never had the cash for a tank. JK

I have an Aquapod 12 gallon system in my dorm room that is doing quite well. It isn't as bad as it seems.

thanks! the clowns are already in their new home. SO this tank has been broken down, but starting all over again with this one in my dad's office and my 16g in my dorm! I'll be sure to post pics of both when they are presentable!

yep, everything has been moved to the 16g. Everything looks awesome, much better than in the 5.5g, so hopefully i'm not going to get a minicycle at this point. i now have a 2 T5 fixtures on it (I'll look to see what ones they are if you would like, I bought them off a friend) so I can keep whatver I like. I'm thinking I will add a few more sexy shrimp and a clown goby.
