I have a ballast for some PC $10 and its yours. Need bulbs. I think it used like 96W.

Maybe you should just buy a giant RV rip everything out of it and build a tank the RV you can even take it work if you want. lol, that first ever tank on wheels.

That would be interesting. But the sides would have to be viewable, plus you could just make the roof out of clear material and just use natural lighting.

About that ballast...does it look like this one or would it be a suitable replacement for this one?

Vitaly it a Custom Sea Life Power Compact 2 lamp 55 watt
I thought it was 96W guess not.
