Can I use weld on 16

I am building a small fuge but all I have is no 16.(the no 4 evaporated or something)Will this work?

No 16 is the thick- gap filling stuff. It potentially will work, but will not be as good as using number 3 or 4. Number 16 is also meant as an adhesive instead of a solvent. Number 3 or 4 will last longer and overall be a better solution. You should be able to find some for under $8. I just called a local plastics dealer.

Can you.. Yes, would I, No. With 16 you do not get as good of a bond and it is a lot harder to get a waterproof seal. If this fuge is intank or insump you should be ok. If it is outside of tank I would highly suggest geting some good solvent or use the two part WD40/42.
