Yeah, looks like a H. crispa to me. A little tender, love, and care will bring back its zooxanthellae.

mine was a bit bleached like that when I purchased it, now it has colored up very nicely it is now beige and doubled in size, it is hosted by a pair of True Percs

it eats very well and is responsive and sticky so fingers crossed, do you think it would be beneficial to keep my two juvenile chrysopterus with it?
or give it some more recovery time.

If it is eating, staying put, opening during the day, then I would say don't change a thing :>)
