Heater in container?

I have a 55 gallon trash container filled with water at 1.025. I have a PH and a heater on continuosly. I read a post of someone saying that its a bad idea to keep the water you have mixed heated cause this will lower the PH of the water. Is this true? Should I not heat the water until I do my water changes?

Heating the water will not cause a pH change. Changing the temperature may change the pH that a pH meter reads if it is not temperature corrected, but the actual chemistry of the water is not being changed.
