That is an awesome thread, there are some hardcore Micro collectors living in there Somewhere in that 36+ pages there actually are a few shots of what ummm 40-50 micros look like... The Halloween candy bowls always garner ALOT of attention and there are also some shots of the "Rack" on which all the mommas live.... If I post them here it would quickly become another micro thread LOL
Thanks for the compliments gang

Thanks so much for the inputs guys

The wall in front of the tank is going to be cultured rock.. making the tank look kind of like it is in a live rock cave... almost like when you walk along the rocks at the Ocean...

Here is my contractor getting the wall ready

This is the rock... see the faux shells and stuff?
The fireplace to the left will also be covered in this

For about 8 mo. I have been collecting live rock from all of the tanks of friends that aquiesce.... This is my 500lbs + Bucket of rocks

More pics as things finish

Hey Doc. I have been a long time admirer of your micro and acan collection....simply amazing what nature creates.

Just wanted to tell you that I think that cultured rock look around the tank is going to look awesome and I know that this project (based on your other stuff) is going to be amazing. Keep up the great pic updates and I can't wait to see it all come together.

I love the "bucket o' rocks"

Adam

I ordered the Rock for the front about 3 weeks ago and they told me 3-4 days to arrive cool.... every 3-4 days I call or go by and they say " oh sorry we should get it tommorow" I am getting @#$%% er upset .... I may have to just drive the 150 miles and go pick it up directly in a larger city

The "Rock" you speak of is up above in my "Bucket 'O' Rocks" there is a pic there these "Liverocks". The rock I speak of now is Faux front to the tank display area... There are also pics of these.. The ones that just arrived are the actual wall covering to the display area
