help with catching crab
So was looking in my rockwork the other day and saw a good sized hairy crab in the tank. I've lost a pair of small clowns the last couple days and i think this is the culprit as all the other fish in the tank are very docile. I've tried putting a jar in the tank with some shrimp in it but this only manages to catch my hermits. Any other ideas?

Keep trying with the jar, it's still the easiest way. Maybe change food (bait).

yep, s wooden shish kabob skeur works well, 20 pack at the grocery store for like 2 bucks, also, you can buy highend milk in the glass bottle, if you have room in your tank for it, bait it lay it on it's side and build a sand ramp to climb in i, crabs suck at climbing up glass

I had to get a crab out one time and it took 2 days. The first day I had to get all the hermits out by doing that trap. I put them aside and re-set the glass so only the crab was left near it's hiding place. The next day it was in the glass.
