not bragging but best trap ever

Hey guys I'm not posting this to rub it in anyone's face. I just want to show that the trap I used worked again. This time in record time. 1.5hrs. After I caught the blue devil damsel last time I gave it to my brother to help cycle his tank. He added a pair of perculas tonight so we had to catch the damsel. I didn't think we would catch him tonight but we did. He went back in forth for an hour deciding whether or not it was worth it to munch on the shrimp, squid etc. Finally he went in and I pulled the string and got him. By the way the perculas also went in it so it proves it's not just dumb damsels that fall for it.

this trap does work great, but it couldn't fool my coral beauty!!! i tried for 2 days. she just would not go in. she just started to graze on the rocks instead and the brine shrimp stayed in the cage all that time. i ended up pulling out all my rocks!

she saw what it did to my clarkii clown i guess , and said hell no... i ain't stupid!

Can we see a pic of the door and how it was made. This looks like a good idea.

Nice one! I have used fishing line with barbless hook. Baited net, inverted water bottle etc. They all work in different circumstances. I dont think you should ever have to tear all your rockwork out.
