IME if the pepps have something else to eat in the tank they will go for that before they even consider aiptasia. So if you feed your fish often...they'd rather pickup the fish food leftovers instead of picking on aiptasia.

has anyone ever tried superglue? I tried it lately and it seemed to work. It just might be an eye sight for a while, but gluing the sucker in is FUN!

...so then when you want to get rid of the aiptasia you take the whole rock out and superglue them?

I've tried Joes and kalk paste but they still came back. I've also put in berghi's and peppermint shrimp with little success. I now have a copper Banded Butterfly that works great. So far, at 6 + months, he's still going strong.

I've noticed with Joe's Juice and Aptasia Control that it seems to make them spread, but just keep going at them and they'll perish. I started out with 20 in my tank, all that is left is 1 that I'm too lazy to destroy.

from my experience yes. The cleaner shrimps are bigger than the peps so they keep them in their place. So the cleaner shrimps take over the left side of my tank and the peps the right (altho i wonder if they're still around. haven't seen them in ages).

Kusanagiz,

Good question. My tank is so packed with LR that I rarely saw the pepps after I added them. To be honest I wasn't too concerned as the Aptasia was such a huge problem. More than likely my Marine Betta ate a few, a few died and many are left.

CoralGoodie,

The 2 Cleaners in my tank are doing just fine. I can't say if they attacked any of the pepps. The Xenia and Zoos did just fine.
