Ok...I'll play along....note the purple hair...the horrors of being color-blind and thinking "violin" was the nice chestnut color of a violin, not "violet" as in purple.

Yeah, that's putting it mildly! I was living in France at the time, which helps explain my confusion with the box of hair dye. It was great, only worked 12 hours a week and made more money than I do now. Gotta love the French system in many ways. It was a great year, from what I can remember. My liver was happy to return home where I have since left those careless days behind.

That pic was taken in early May...I sobered up sometime in late July I think. It didn't help, the only bar in town for my folk happened to be right around the corner from where I lived (and no, I didn't plan on that...total coincidence). So, it was my regular watering hole...become good friends with the owner. I can't tell you how many nights I stayed up all night partying, and then would stagger to the university to teach my classes, and then come home to sleep. I don't know how I did it.

I hate to see PoukieBear and Gawain1974 hangiong out there on a limb all by themselves, so here I am many years ago, as eveil alcoholic spirits have not crossed my lips for 18 years....

We are explaining where the Q-Tips are inserted to a new intern at the orientation party.
