Beautiful tank and pictures! I was asking myself how in the world you have such clean sand and established SPS colonies but then read you just switched tanks.

LOL...ya...new sand bed. Although, I do keep it pretty well stirred up. Twice a week or so.

Thanks

Well...it's not easy. I clean every Wednesday and Saturday. I magnet clean all the walls, wipe down the overflow, remove and wipe off each of the tunze streams, stir up all the sand and then turkey baste all the rock. I clean all the exterior acrylic with brillianize polish and I also change the filter bag and sometimes wipe the salt creep from the sump. I also empty and wipe out clean the skimmer cup. All this is done twice a week. Every two weeks, I do a 20gal water change. Lots of work but, I like the way it keeps it clean for the most part.

magnificent work. I'd love to know what your #1 secret is to having your SPS looking so....healthy, and your tank so pristine.
