Over 50,000 now dead from the tsunamis.
That is hard to belive over 50,000 people died because of those tidal waves. That has to be the single biggest disaster death toll in a long long long time. Those poor people, if any of you pray how about saying some prayers for them, God knows they need it.

And from the looks of it, it's going to get much higher. It makes my heart heavy, I can't imagine how bad those with loved ones feel.

I know,,,,the diseases are going to set in soon from all the bodies decaying and filth. There were over 1000 train tickets sold in one area. They found over 800 bodies, there were over 200 who did not get I.D. and they went ahead and just threw them in the ground with little ceramony at all. I guess its hard to have such things with such a high death toll. I have seen tsunamis on Discovery and did some research on them but never thought I would live to see the day where so many lives were lost so fast. It is amazing in a way. Not good of course but the sheer power of something like that really makes me wonder about the next big bang. They say every time we get up the morning there is a 1 and 20,000 chance that we will get hit by a giant asteroid. Sort of makes you wonder a bit. All I do is make sure I am with loved ones and hope for the best.
