brown jelly help ASAP

ok well it took out a head on my pink tip hammer and I was hoping that was it but then it just is in the process of taking down a head of octospawn so all corals have been moved to another tank, the only problem is that the other tank has been running for only a few days in that setup. I did however take all of the rock and sand and water from my 125 and put it into the tank in question my 75. I also did a 25 gallon water change last night and then added the corals this morning so we shall see what happens. If all of this is a bad idea someone please tell me only problem im having is the LPS trying to adjust t the new brighter halides vs the 2 large pc's on the 10 they came from.

I was a little hard trying to follow your story of what happened. If you could go over it step by step what happened before the brown jelly, what you did to stop it or clean it, and what's happening now.

Also, refer to this thread. There is a ton of info in there on brown jelly.

well i noticed it on one of the pieces that I had so I just broke off the nasty piece and tossed it and left the rest of the coral in my 10 and moved all of the others into the new 75. So Far so good I keep extremely clean water so I think that I will be good so far as long as I slowly acclimate my guys to the new much brighter lighting
