storing salt water in laundry room?

I'm thinking about storing my RO/DI and mixed salt water in my laundry room. I wonder if the salt is going to do any damage to my laundry room or clothes that I may hang there once a while.

I'll use some kind of container like Brute with lid on. I'll have a power head and heater in the salt water container. Would I have oxygen issue (lacking) if I keep the led close?

Anyone of you doing this? Any problem you have encounter?
