I have it on my standard 28g tank, it is awesome, I have a sensor in my display, and the other in my bucket with Ro-di. I have a small rio pump to pump the water up into my tank. Its really simple.
I had an overflow once, I caught a snail hanging on the float sensor, which kept the pump pumping. I covered the sensor in mesh so snails can't get to it anymore, but if you have the sensor in rear chamber, you should be safe from snails.

thank you! i just wasn't sure as to whether or not the sensor would fit into my chamber. i won't have to worry about snails messing with the sensor because nothing ever ventures into the back chambers of my tank. thanks again for your help!
