For those with Dendros

After my initial sand placement for acclimation to my tank, where have you put your dendro in the tank? Pics would be nice also, who doesnt love a pic of them.

From looking at so many dendro threads, I like the look of dendros on the sandbed, looks good like that. Since they open up all day, you could put them up on the rockwork if you want.

WOW!!!!!!! Love that Dendro... Thanks for sharing ipluu!!!

cichlid~ I finally saw that movie this past weekend... It was a bit weird, definately graffic, but all around pretty good... Better than most of the movies coming out anymore...

Heres a pic of my Dendro in the sandbed to the right of the PPE's...

Do you plan on keeping it in the sandbed? I love how people disregard the R rating and act like it should have been "alice in wonderland," not even close to the most graphic thing I have ever seen.

Really you don't need to have to have dendros up high... They aren't as photosynthetic as say Duncans are... Thats why you have to feed them more often... I moved mine up off the sand only because my stupid fridmani keeps digging sand and dumping it on top of the dendros...

Yeah, it was farely evident it wasn't Alice in Wonderland whenever the Captain smashed that farmer's son's nose into his face... lol

I just got this one a few weeks ago. I plan on keeping it on the sand bed, but who knows I may move it.

Graveyard, your dendro looks awesome! Nice and fat, you must have it well fed!!

Can you tell me how often you feed it and what you feed it?

thecichlidpleco, do you have pictures of your dendro?

I feed it every night, mostly frozen mysis, and cyclopeeze.
That pic was taken when I first got it, you should see it now.

Here is a night shot, not all are mine, just holding for friends. The biggest one is mine and opens up to almost 4 inches.

What has been the typical growth on these guys?

Do you guys/gals feed silverside to your dendros? I feed mine everyday, but no new babies. They only get huge.

I just put my lights on to grab some pics of my suncorals and discovered that my latest Yellow Watchman Goby eggs hatched. The water is literally teaming with thousands of little fry, and my corals are having quite a time feasting. Here's a new pic of my Dendro, almost 2 months since the previous one I posted.
