planted refuge
i have a 35G planted fuge tank. the way its set up right now is tank water is drawn staight from the main tank to my fuge with a fluval 304 /w no media. this was in hopes of giving any larva a chance to survive if they get sucked up into the fuge. however its planted with caulpera algae, and even know i have tangs i dont want it in the main tank. i was just wondering if it goes sexual can it jump tanks? and will my 100 micron filter sock help stop this?

Why not replace the caulerpa with chaetomorpha instead?
If your algae goes sexual you'll have bigger problems to worry about. I doubt a filter sock will stop the spores.
