Amazing Reef (Watch out O.C.!)

First off, this is not a worthless plug but a fact that there is a very nice store brewing in Orange. I am very surprised that I have not heard more about it in this forum. I've visited all the other places that people rave about and it really makes me wonder what all the hype was about To be quite honest, there are only 2-3 stores that I would consider worthy of my cash. Now make it 4!

Anyhow, Ali really stepped up the anti on this one. I'm not sure when he is going to officially be open but I was beyond impressed. The store is not your typical cluttered, blue walled, stinky uncomfortable store. Coming from a one time store owner and an owner of a coral farming business, I really think he is going to do good.

Ali, I wish you the best and will be counting on you for some exotic stuff. Also, don't worry about trying to hook me up, I'll pay market price as long as it's nice

No nickel and diming here brotha!

I agree Eric

I was lucky enough to get a tour and it will be great. Just wish it was closer to south OC, but it should be worth the drive. For a smaller store, he did very well with space and it does not in anyway look cluttered.

It's a nice set up. Can't wait until he starts carrying the harder to find clowns.

When does the store open? Orange is a bit far for me to drive but I'd make the trip in support of a fellow hobbyist like Ali.

Ali, he's the best I was there the other day and I was speechless...his store will blow away the other 3-4 stores in the area.

I'll jump on the Pro-Ali bandwagon too.....but not because everyone else is praising him. Rather, I have direct experience as to his character, ethics, and aspirations. Ali is the type of person whom you could literally trust your life savings to; I'm not exagerating. This is the real deal folks. enough said

I stopped by the other day and poked my head in the window. Looks nice.

The guy with the LFS about 8 doors down must be pi**ed!

I've been there twice so far when he was setting it up. It's going to be one of my favorites! This store is more jfocused on coral than fish but he will have some nice high end dry goods also.

Ali is a superb guy and going to have some really nice stuff!

Ali's a great guy.

An overzealous Lakers' fan but a great guy.

I went by for a visit and it was evident that he did put a lot of sweat and dedication into a reef shop for discerning hobbyists.

I wish him much success.

It's an awesome store, and being right next to a massage parlor... in an excellent location as well.

Went looking for this place today and didn't find it ... When I googe the address, it sent me to 1842 N. Tustin Ave Santa Ana ... Damn google ! LOL. I tried to call the store, but no one answered the phone (@ 1:00pm). So my 35 mile drive was in vain.

I know it's been a guy thing not to ask for directions, but after 35 miles I would get out of the car and just ask. lol.

it's right across from Home Depot.

Right across from Home Depot next door to an Indian Resturant and a massage parlor. How could you miss it?

I think it says Coral Reef on the signage (no mention of amazing reefs).

Ali is cool. One of the very first guys that I got to know when I started with RC. We traded/sold stuff to each other back in the days too. if you got any reef questions he definitly knows the answer to them. I'll drop by one of these days to check out your store bro!

ps. I want you to get me some rare clowns...like from Japan...

Cross streets would have been nice !

I know I was at the wrong 1842 Tustin ... It was some broke down nursery ! LOL Just north of 17th street. Anyways Ali PM'ed me with the correct address and a special something to make up for my lost ways.

And yes it's a guy thing .... I never ask for directions. LOL

Dang you Ali! Why do you have to open a shop so far away from me!!! In all seriousness though, CONGRATS and I wish you the best of luck with your new adventure.

I too had trouble finding the place the first time I went. I must say though, once you find it, you will never forget where it is because that store is going to be the shiznit!

Anyone who knows Ali, knows he's got connections and should stock some of the nicest livestock in the business.

Ali, you da man!
