Tank looks good!! Is that xenia in the pic?

I have a 29 gallon tank also. My return pump (after head loss) probably gives me around 200 gph. I have three 600 gph powerheads in there, and I am still not satisfied with the flow.

I think the amount of flow needed all depends on factors such as the type of corals you want to keep, the volume of your live rock ( I have about 47 lbs), and how well particulates remain suspended in the water column so they can travel down to your filtration.

I have about 2000 gph of pumping going on in my little tank, and I still have low flow areas. Here's a pic so you can see how my live rock obviously restricts my flow:

I would guess you are going to be a bit low on flow.

There is never too much flow in a tank. Just make sure its directed properly as to not damage/stress the corals.

I agree w/ iwishtofish and chin.
I have ~75-80x turn over (gph/g) in my 65g, but alot of people seem to believe in very minimal flow IMO (I suppose most people have never been scuba diving on a reef).
