frog spawn touching crocea

its growing and touching the clam. clam looks good where he is touching it. will this be a prob as it grows and touchs it more?

yes, aquaman2, it will become a problem, your clam will start to recede itself in its shell until ultimately it will perish from not being able to fully extend its mantle. move it please. hope this helps....

Yes move is ASAP! Clam stands no chance, not worth losing something IMO

well its a fat healthy clam. and it will be easy to move away from the FS. no reason to leave it there. thanks for the advice

not saying moving it is a bad idea, but i have a little different experience. i have a frogspawn that touches a deresa constantly. even when i try to move it it works its way back over to the little nook it likes by the fs. it seems used to the frogspawn and it is never contracting from it touching it. no signs of harm on the clam either. just another point of view for ya

my maxima has been touching a torch and occasionally a frogspawn with no problems for over a year.


the guys that say to move it... have you experienced clam mantle retraction from experience? read it somewhere? maybe it's species specific?... hmm
